Security Officer - Distribution Access Control

As a Security Officer - Distribution Access Control in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring entry points and patrolling the distribution and logistics location to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting regular patrols, assisting with access management, and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with staff and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain the integrity of the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
• Observe and report any irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related protocols for visitors, employees, and contractors entering the premises.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding incidents or security-related concerns encountered during shifts.
• Follow site-specific emergency response procedures and participate in drills as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
