What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal management by reporting incidents, hazards, and/or unusual situations according to company protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Handle security-related emergencies and/or incidents in accordance with training and site procedures, including the use of appropriate defensive tools as required for an armed post.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
