Clinical Consultation Specialist - San Diego, CA

Required:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Current valid license or license eligibility in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all requirements set by the California licensing board

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of clinical experience supporting individuals with mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), ideally in a community-based setting
• Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy

We're seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our Adult Behavioral Health (ABH) team. In this role, you'll provide therapeutic services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) living in Enhanced Behavioral Support Homes (EBSH).

In this role, you'll help individuals and families navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You'll tailor treatment plans and interventions to meet each person's developmental and cognitive needs while collaborating closely with caregivers, EBSH staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and holistic care.

• Conduct intake assessments and provide individual and family therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that integrate mental health and behavioral objectives.
• Apply evidence-based interventions and behavior management strategies designed for individuals with IDD.
• Partner with EBSH staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote coordinated, high-quality care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Train and support staff within the DDTT/ITS program to enhance skills and ensure excellence in service delivery.

Location: San Diego, California (may provide coverage to surrounding areas as needed)
Pay Range: $55-$58 per hour
Schedule: PRN - up to 20 hours a week
