How you make a difference in this role: The Educator Effectiveness team is seeking to hire an individual to support the teams work within the Division of Human Capital. This team supports the departments efforts to acquire, develop, and sustain an exceptional educator workforce in Tennessee leading to exceptional student outcomes. The TEAM Coordinator will report to the Senior Director of Educator Effectiveness and will provide additional capacity within the team. Job Overview: Essential Functions: Developing procedures and guidelines to support implementation of statewide initiatives including: educator recognition, student growth portfolios, strategic compensation, and educator evaluation. Communicate with districts and charter schools across the state regarding these initiatives. Collaborate with all team members, seeking to identify areas for continuous improvement across workstreams, maintaining a focus on positive educator and student outcomes. Ensure all created resources are up-to-date, visible, and accessible to all stakeholders on department websites. Review all documents to ensure they meet the department communication requirements. Submit and monitor documents throughout the communications process. Manage procurement and accounting systems and processes to ensure timely payment to vendors. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to the educator effectiveness team in analyzing, developing, and evaluating educational programs, activities, and services. Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Possession of a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and experience equivalent to four years of full-time professional educational, instructional or supervisory/administrative work. Substitution of Graduate Education for Experience: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required experience, on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years. OR One year of experience as an Education Consultant 1, School Nutrition Consultant, or Child Care Program Evaluator 2 with the State of Tennessee. Necessary Special Qualifications:
