PC Technician - Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient PC Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting hardware and software operations, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining accurate documentation for quality assurance and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: * Hardware Break/Fix & Configuration * * Diagnose, repair, and configure desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices including badge readers, modems, and display units to ensure optimal performance. * Software Validation & Testing * * Conduct functional testing of software and hardware integrations, verifying compatibility and performance of connected devices such as badge readers and modems. * Data Entry & Documentation * * Accurately input data into QA systems including SharePoint and Excel trackers. Maintain clear and thorough documentation to support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: * Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting and configuration. * Familiarity with QA systems and data entry tools (e.g., SharePoint, Excel). * Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly. * Experience with software validation and device testing preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
