| Position Summary |
The Upward Bound Administrative Assistant supports program operations during the academic year and summer components by coordinating tutoring schedules, maintaining student and tutor records, and assisting with program planning. Responsibilities include compiling data for federal reporting, managing the
BLUMEN database, and providing responsive support to students, parents, and school staff. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with word processing, databases, office equipment, and social media platforms. |

- Responsive and attentive to students, parents, and relevant school staff.
- Proficiency in word-based processing and database systems, and knowledge of common office equipment and the operation of various social media outlets.
- Assisting in planning for Upward Bound academic and summer component.
- Compiling data for the Upward Bound Annual Performance Report for the Department of Education.
- Maintaining and inputting data into BLUMEN (data base) for program participants, current, inactive, and former.
- Maintain records for all Upward Bound Tutors and coordinate tutor schedules.
