POSITION SUMMARY Under close to moderate supervision, the Administrative Associate's primary function is to facilitate the sales and service of nontraditional investment and insurance products to qualified buyers. The Administrative Associate will work closely with Financial Advisors and Financial Consultants to support the Wealth Management team's efforts to provide exemplary service for their clients. The Administrative Associate may be paired with an assigned advisor to manage financial planning, social media and marketing campaigns in addition to regularly meeting with clients. The role may also be responsible for education and training staff members or members of the community in wealth management and their products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES * Meets with referred or walk-in wealth clients, prospect clients, and members to review their specific financial needs and recommend suitable solutions using products and services provided by our broker dealer. * Services clients as regularly needed on a periodic basis, with at least an annual contact. Coordinates all sales and service appointments. * Initiates and completes all necessary paperwork regarding any sales or account maintenance including account openings, cancelations, surrenders, partial withdrawals, refunds and funds transfers. * Maintains effective relationships with credit union staff to schedule and host meetings, answer questions, and provide referral training as needed. Refers clients to the credit union for services. * Facilitates on and off-site presentations and centralizes wealth training for Credit Union commercial and SEG business development staff. * Manages financial planning, social media and electronic marketing campaigns for an assigned Advisor. * Complies with all current laws, rules, policies and procedures set forth by federal and state security regulatory agencies aswell as the broker-dealer and stays current with all changes. JOB SPECIFICATIONS * Superior customer/member/client relationship skills. Strong interpersonal skills. * Analytical skills to comprehend complex products, services, and relation regulations. * Maintains a high level of trust and tact with internal/external members and clients. * Work may involve educating and supporting other staff, members or other employees. * Proficient verbal, written, oral communication skills as well as proficiency with spreadsheets and select databases. EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or combined education and work experience equivalent to a college degree. * 3-5 years of experience in positions requiring extensive personal retail customer or client contact. * NASD Series 7, Series 66, and 63 registrations and Life/Accident and Health licenses are strongly preferred. * Financial services experience, strongly preferred. WORK ARRANGEMENT: * The working arrangement for this position is hybrid. Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization.
