Summary


The HR Intern will support key workforce and talent initiatives shaping Dunmore's future HR capabilities. This role provides exposure to compensation design, talent management, learning systems, and HR process automation. The intern will work directly with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful results aligned with Dunmore's 2026-2028 HR roadmap.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Pay-for-Skill Program Development


  • Partner with HR, Operations, and site Training Coordinators to help design and document a pay-for-skill model for production teams.


  • Research benchmarking data, skill tiering structures, and internal equity alignment.


  • Support communication materials and process documentation for rollout.


  • Succession and Talent Management


  • Participate in talent review and succession planning discussions, gaining insight into how potential and performance drive development decisions.


  • Assist in updating talent profiles and development plans in the HRIS (or whatever tool we use).


  • Analyze talent pipeline data to support workforce planning initiatives.


  • HR Digital Transformation


  • Contribute to the implementation of an electronic paperwork system, focusing on employee onboarding and status change workflows.


  • Support user testing, process mapping, and creation of training guides for end-users.


  • Document "as-is" and "to-be" HR processes as part of HR process modernization.


  • Learning & Career Progression


  • Collaborate with HR and site Training Coordinators to create and upload new coursework in the LMS, ensuring alignment with career paths and skills progression.


  • Support tracking of learning completion and assist in developing reports for site leaders.


  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:



  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.


  • Interest in HR systems, process improvement, and talent development.




Education and Experience



  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.



Physical Demands - OFFICE / TRAVEL




  • Standing/Sitting 40/60%


  • Walking/Bending/Stooping 15%


  • Lifting Requirements: 25 pounds


  • Travel by air, rail, auto (5% of time)


  • Work in manufacturing area, QA lab and office areas


  • Exposures - Odors, Fumes, Noise, Chemicals, Temperature, Vision strain, Moving parts.
