IT Project Manager V

The IT Senior Project Manager for the AMI 2.0 Program will lead critical pre-planning andsystem integrator engagement activities for a major Advanced Metering Infrastructure initiative. Candidate may reside outside of CA and work fully remote; however, if local to LA, Riverside, Orange, and San Bernadino Counties, onsite will be hybrid with 2 days in the office.

Large-scale IT program/project management in utilities or regulated industries.
• AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) experience:
• AMI 1.0 or 2.0 preferred (at minimum some 1.0 exposure).
• Understanding of meter-to-cash process end-to-end.
• Experience with system integrations (MDMS, head-end systems, OMS, SAP, ADMS).
• Major data conversion projects (millions of records).
• Cloud migration/implementation experience (moving from on-prem to cloud).
• Broad IT infrastructure knowledge - ability to see the "big picture" and ensure no gaps in delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, or other business-related discipline (including liberal arts majors).
• Experience with utility technology needs, including strategic objectives and areas of investment focus.
• Experience delivering/developing technical information to a non-technical audience as well as to senior leadership.
• Experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning or strategy/management consulting.
• Experience managing large IT programs, resource planning, solution blueprinting, implementation planning, and overall end-to-end delivery management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership.
• Familiarity with AMI, smart grid, or large Electric Utility technology and infrastructure projects.
• Strong blend of business insight and technical proficiency to bridge the gap between stakeholder needs and technological solutions.

Salary range for this position is $244,000 - $270,000. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
