THE ROLE

Our site inSan Luis Obispo, CAis seeking a/an Manufacturing Co-Opto join our team for theSpring 2026season. This assignment is intended to be6 monthsin duration.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and measure process performance

• Identify root causes of poor process performance

• Prove the causes & develop countermeasures to mitigate causes

• Implement mitigating actions promptly & check if the mitigations worked

• Standardize the improvements

• Mechanical aptitude

• Some knowledge of data analysis

• Ability to work with others for a common outcome

• Manufacturing Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

• Process Engineering

• Industrial Engineering

• Graduation date of Spring 2026 or later

Eligibility

• Must be a currently enrolled student

• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.

• Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program

• Compensation: $20-$26 per hour, with actual pay dependent on the candidate's overall skills for the role
