| What to Expect Tesla's Battery Metals and Materials group is looking for highly motivated chemical operators to accelerate the transition to renewable energy. Scaling battery recycling is one of the most critical challenges of our time. You will assist in the day-to-day operation of asemi-works facility.Chemical Operators will focus on the efficient operation and maintenance of a recycling line during their shift.They will be responsible for ensuring the line meets rate, product quality and performance benchmarks. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and safety mindsight.They must be adaptable, have good communication skills, and work well in fast-paced team environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, performing quality control testing, product packaging and loading/unloading finished goods and raw material. What You'll Do
 
  Communicate with Senior Chemical Operators and team members regarding safety, production, quality, and operational issuesConduct pilot plant runs/campaigns in accordance with all safety and standards by following written and verbal work instructionsFollow procedures to safely and efficiently operate equipment related to the manufacturing of chemicalsUse equipment and instrumentation to monitor pressure, temperature, and other conditionsPerform quality control testing as required, calibrations on equipment, and maintain accurate documentationMaintain clean and safe work areas and complete required preventive maintenanceWhat You'll Bring
