We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Level III NICU team. This role is responsible for the overall management of nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to NICU nursing staff, ensuring excellence in patient care.

  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.

  • Foster a culture of safety, quality improvement, and professional development.

  • Participate in strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives.

Education & Requirements:

  • Current nursing licensure in the State of Delaware or compact state required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

  • Completed BSN and Master's degree or alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and Masters of Science in Nursing required.

  • 5 years appropriate clinical and leadership experience with a NICU setting required.

  • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required.

  • Nurse Executive certification strongly preferred.

  • BLS certification required.

Annual Compensation Range $121,180.80 - $193,897.60 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
