YOUR IMPACT

As a Solution Consultant within OpenText's US Public Sector business unit, you'll play a critical role in helping government agencies and public sector organizations harness the power of information. You'll work alongside Account Executives to uncover customer needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the business value of OpenText's Enterprise Information Management (EIM) portfolio.

Your work will enable agencies to capture, store, manage, deliver, preserve, and analyze content across the entire information lifecycle-driving efficiency, insight, and transparency. WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Engage and Influence: Partner with Account Executives to identify and develop new revenue opportunities, leveraging your ability to connect customer needs with the power of OpenText solutions.

• Solution Design and Delivery: Analyze complex customer business challenges and translate them into compelling, value-driven solution proposals using OpenText's EIM portfolio.

• Showcase OpenText's Value: Build and deliver tailored demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts that help customers visualize how OpenText can enable their digital transformation goals.

• Strategic Consulting: Lead presales technical and functional discussions with executive, technical, and business stakeholders to align solutions with customer initiatives.

• Industry Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of public sector regulations-including Federal, State, Local, and Education markets-to ensure compliance and relevance.

• Thought Leadership: Contribute to best practices, share insights across teams, and help evolve the use of OpenText technologies to drive customer success and business growth.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 5+ years of customer-facing presales experience in an enterprise or value-based selling environment.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of information lifecycle management and experience with one or more of the following: xECM, Content Suite, Documentum, Core, InfoArchive, Capture (Intelligent Capture/Captiva), RightFax, or AppWorks.

  • Familiarity with applications such as SAP, Salesforce, SharePoint, Teams, and other enterprise productivity tools.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).

• Consulting Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing solutions and strategies that address complex customer challenges.

• Communication: Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; comfortable leading workshops, RFX responses, and customer demonstrations.

• Adaptability: Willingness to travel up to 50%, including potential international engagements.

• Mindset: Customer-focused, solution-oriented, and passionate about helping public sector organizations achieve operational excellence through digital transformation.
