Regional Market Director of Intake About The Role

The Regional Market Director of Intake provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all Intake Services across our Kentucky and Indiana behavioral health facilities. This position ensures that each hospital's intake programs deliver clinically sound, patient-centered, and compliant services aligned with corporate and market-level performance goals.

The Regional Market Director plays a key role in strategic planning, quality improvement, and staff development, working collaboratively with CEOs, Intake Directors, and clinical teams to strengthen access, compliance, and the patient experience across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Intake Directors across multiple facilities to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality assessment and referral services.

  • Oversee patient screening, clinical evaluations, and admission coordination to maintain compliance with regulatory and payer standards.

  • Develop and implement performance metrics, strategic initiatives, and quality improvement programs.

  • Partner with facility and corporate leadership to recruit, train, and evaluate intake personnel while fostering professional growth and accountability.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders-including physicians, treatment teams, managed care organizations, and referral sources-to streamline operations and strengthen community relationships.

  • Monitor and analyze performance data to ensure compliance and implement corrective action plans as needed.

  • Provide interim leadership coverage for facility-level intake departments during vacancies or transitions.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree required (Behavioral Health, Nursing, or related field).

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of leadership experience in behavioral health intake, admissions, or clinical management.

  • Licensure: Active RN, LCSW, LMSW, or LPC in Kentucky or Indiana preferred (or eligible for licensure).

  • Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; deep understanding of behavioral health regulatory standards and managed care requirements.

  • Travel: 75-80% travel across assigned facilities (local/regional).
