As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and perform security-related checks as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or tenants within the commercial real estate environment.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• You must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
