Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure setting for tenants and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter potential security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related issues, documenting findings and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and supporting the management of visitor and contractor access.
• Work closely with property management and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for tenants and guests.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings within the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
