.NET Developer:
Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using the .NET Framework/ Core and related technologies. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; collaborate with team members; troubleshoot issues; and ensure the quality and performance of applications. Stay up to date with the latest .NET technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Development & Coding: Create new software applications or features using C# and other languages as required. Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and design patterns to ensure code quality and maintainability. Perform code reviews on peer-produced code; provide constructive feedback; ensure adherence to standards and quality. Improve existing code by optimizing its performance, readability, and maintainability.
  • Design & Architecture: Collaborate with architects and other developers to design the overall structure and architecture of software systems.
  • Database & API Design: Design and optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL) to support application functionality. Design and implement APIs for communication between different application components.
  • Testing & Debugging: Perform .NET tests to verify the functionality of individual code components. Identify and fix bugs in applications using debugging tools and techniques. Test the interaction between different parts of the application to ensure proper functionality.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work with Stakeholders - Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, customers, and other team members to analyze user stories and define project goals. Communicate effectively with other team members, both verbally and in writing, to share information and collaborate on projects.
  • Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy applications to various environments, including testing, staging, and production. Monitor application issues and identify and resolve issues, and provide technical support to users. Verify daily vulnerability scans and implement resolutions based on their criticality, after checking with the PM as applicable. Work on ad hoc reports and data corrections as needed. Work on installing SSL certificates on the servers. Support Application Server patches. Work on any other tasks as required for the project.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest .NET technologies, tools, and best practices. Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: US Citizen, Ability to obtain Public Trust.
Preferred Education & Experience: 7 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $75,000.00 - $113,000.00.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.

To a reduced degree, <30% of the time, candidates may have to stand, walk, lift 0-30 pounds, push or pull objects, climb stairs, bend, squat, reach, drive a car, or work overtime.
