Behavioral Health Utilization Review - Remote in Arizona

Join Optum/UnitedHealth Group to support behavioral health and substance abuse case management through utilization reviews and care coordination. You'll ensure members receive the right level of care at the right time.

***Remote role. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Licensure and residency in the State of Arizona is required.***

What You'll Do:

• Review behavioral health and substance use cases
• Determine appropriate levels of care
• Coordinate transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with providers and community resources

What You'll Need:

• Master's degree in behavioral health or RN license
• Active independent AZ license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PSY, or RN)
• 2+ years of behavioral health experience
• Experience with utilization review
• AZ residency and reliable internet

Preferred Experience:

• Working with dual diagnosis (SUD and behavioral health)
• Medicaid/Medicare populations and/or community mental health
• Experience with benefit coordination
