Security Officer - Industrial Facility Access

As a Security Officer - Industrial Facility Access in Aliquippa, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entrances and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to a secure environment for personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Assist with visitor and contractor check-in and check-out procedures in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills and following established protocols.
• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by addressing inquiries and offering assistance related to security-related procedures and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of activities, incidents, and any access control issues encountered during shifts.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate and in line with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
