Job Description




As a Security Officer - Media Dispatch in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch professional at a leading technology location, you will monitor and coordinate security-related activities to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your role will involve managing communications and responding promptly to incidents, while remaining visible and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Operate as a key point of contact for site communications, monitoring and dispatching appropriate personnel as needed across the location.
  • Follow established procedures and site-specific protocols for incident response, including documenting and coordinating responses to alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of communications, incidents, and dispatched personnel.
  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with access control procedures.
  • Monitor surveillance and alarm systems to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external emergency services when required.
  • Participate in regular training and drills to stay up-to-date with site procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and client policies, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
