Staffmark Drivers is seeking new talent in Roseville, CA,, and hiring an experienced Class A Yard Hostler to join our team! Enjoy being home daily while working with a dedicated and safety-focused team.

Pay:

$26.29 per hour

Overtime paid after 8 hours in a workday

Schedule:



  • Thursday to Saturday, alternating Wednesdays
  • 1:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Local - home daily



Job Details:



  • Route Type: Local, no-touch freight
  • Equipment: Yard Truck (Yard Goat)
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
  • Lifting Requirements: None



Job Duties:



  • Drive yard goats (tractors) to move trailers between doors, dock areas, and storage locations
  • Couple and uncouple trailers safely and efficiently
  • Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading
  • Follow all customer and company safety protocols and regulations
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness to navigate a fast-paced yard environment
  • Collaborate with management to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Perform basic inspections and ensure equipment is in proper working condition



Required Qualifications:



  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years
  • Acceptable MVR and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse report
  • No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within 3 years
