Security Officer - Bank Patrol

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol in Willimantic, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at financial institution locations. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, assisting clients and visitors with outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance and support as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Maintain awareness of the environment to support a secure atmosphere for employees, visitors, and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
