As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Screener Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, while responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry, following all location-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity and report any unusual or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment.
• Remain attentive to the surroundings and promptly address any potential concerns or incidents in accordance with site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
