As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols, provide visible support, and respond promptly to any concerns. You will also engage with students, staff, and visitors to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain open communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or unsafe conditions encountered during patrols, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with campus personnel, students, and visitors to support a welcoming environment while maintaining security-related awareness.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by client site policies.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and communicate promptly with supervisors and/or local authorities if assistance is required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
