Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with access control and badge procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the perimeter and designated areas, to help to deter potential security-related issues.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or unauthorized individuals and promptly report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Document observations, activities, and incidents in reports as directed by Allied Universal protocols and client expectations.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management to support the security-related needs of the logistics and distribution facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Experience with access control systems and/or badge procedures is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Previous experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
