As a Security Officer - Unarmed Retail Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. You will provide outstanding customer service, assist visitors, and communicate with both staff and guests to foster a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail environment.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and/or policy violations through regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required.
• Support emergency response efforts by following procedures during medical emergencies, fire alarms, or other critical events at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
