As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment for all individuals in the facility. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals and observe unusual activity.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as situations require.
• Document activities, incidents, and observations according to established protocols and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures to support the security-related objectives of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
