Job Description




As a Security Professional - Industrial Facility Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and strong communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for mobile patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the facility's operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any observed discrepancies.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs identified during patrols according to Allied Universal procedures.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed and enforcing site protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining a visible presence and upholding a high standard of customer service throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
