As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Arlington, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. By conducting regular patrols and interacting with people on site, you create a welcoming atmosphere and provide outstanding customer service. You will use your communication skills and professionalism to address inquiries and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, possible security-related risks, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas within the location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific needs and requirements.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Support emergency response procedures and assist in evacuations and/or drills as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with customer service, access control or badge systems, x-ray screening, and/or use of computers or tablets is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
