Contingent requirements: Minimum of 5 shifts per 6-week schedule period Maximum of 96 hours prescheduled in a 6-week period Shifts are 12 hours in length Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday 1500 - Monday 0730) Must work at least 1 summer and 1 winter holiday Summer: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day Winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Eve, New Year's Day Will also work one of the following shifts: Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, or the Day after Christmas General Summary: Assists with basic patient care activities. Responsibilities: Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).\| Assists in providing care appropriate to population specific facilitating timely and individualized care of assigned patients.\| Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.\| Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.\| Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent required. - Current AHA BLS certification or obtain within first week of hire through HEART CODE required.
