As a Flex Technician, you'll support multiple departments and play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across the facility.

Work Schedule - 3 - Day weekend every week!

Monday - Thursday

2:00pm - 12:30am

Job Summary/Overview

The Flex Technician is a versatile, crosstrained team member who supports multiple operational areas within the manufacturing facility. This role "flexes" between Assembly, Shipping & Receiving, and Fabrication based on daily production needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detailoriented, and comfortable learning new processes to ensure smooth workflow across departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Flex between departments based on staffing needs, production schedules, or priority changes.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements 5S, and company policies as required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth handoffs between departments.
  • Participate in crosstraining and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components and finished products according to work instructions and quality standards.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices safely and accurately.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other materialhandling equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Assist with basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, grinding, or machine operation.
  • Use of proper processes, procedures and OMS instructions, cycle counting procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties on machines & equipment as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities

  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and solid blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
  • Certification for sit-down forklift, and use of overhead crane or the willingness to obtain via training.
  • Valid drivers license preferred.

Compensation

$20+ per hour, depending on experience.

Additional $2/hour shift premium for 2nd shift.
