PLYMOUTH MEDICAL CENTER: The Plymouth Medical Center has 2 Operating Rooms and supports multiple outpatient surgery specialties including Orthopedics, Urology, Plastics, and ENT. There is shelled out space for future surgical expansion. There are 14 Pre-Post Recovery spaces with the availability to support extended recovery and a full-service sterile reprocessing department. With a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center featuring two fully equipped operating rooms, we aim to provide our patients with better access to timely procedures. Our advanced technology and well-equipped facilities are designed to support your care needs effectively. The services offered at our outpatient surgery center span across various medical disciplines, including Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Urology, Ear Nose and Throat, Neurosurgery, and Plastic Surgery. In addition to excellent medical care, we pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and healing environment for our patients. We offer private rooms for pre-and post-surgery, ensuring optimal recovery and privacy. Family members can utilize our large, comfortable waiting room. Also, we offer convenient same-day medication refills at our on-site pharmacy. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator. Hours: 6:30AM-3PM Monday- Friday with no weekend, holiday or call requirement. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must Have Experience Circulating and Scrubbing in the Operating Room - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing -Experience with Orthopedic, Urology, ENT, and Plastics surgeries is preferred. -Experience with EPIC OpTime is preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: - Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Additional Information
