Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• Assists with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN and/or physicians.
• Facilitate patient flow, room turnover, and maintain GI procedure area in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist the physician during endoscopy procedures.
• Collect tissue and bodily fluid specimens
• Use aseptic technique to clean, disinfect and process all equipment and scopes.
• Ensure all equipment is stored using the proper processes.
• Assist with patient transport as needed

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
  

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with digestive tract and respiratory disease processes.
