Software Engineer is needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client onsite in Aurora, CO
*Contract Length: 12 months
*Must Have Active TS/SCI Clearance
Job Description:
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.
- Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
What You Will Learn
- A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
- Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.
- Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Experience developing object-oriented software using Java and C++.
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
- Experience developing software on the M2C2 or Rushmore program
- An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.
- Experience developing software using Python.
- Experience with AMMP, Cucumber, GIT, Khaos (M2C2 FD), Kubernetes, Oracle, Postgres, SonarQube, Weblogic, WIGS/Angular.
- Experience with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience working with full stack development.
