Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while offering outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in fostering a secure atmosphere by conducting routine patrols and being a visible resource for people onsite, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or emergencies to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and/or client protocols.
• Remain visible and approachable to employees, visitors, and vendors to provide assistance and help to deter inappropriate behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
