These roles provide essential assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering patient care. Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services. These roles focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of heart-related conditions and diseases. Professionals in this field work with patients of all ages, addressing a wide range of cardiovascular issues, from common conditions to complex diseases. Jobs include both clinical and technical roles, requiring specialized knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care. Performs 12-Lead ECG, documents vital signs during stress testing, operates stress testing equipment, and electronic clinical workflow. Demonstrates the cognitive and technical skills required to acquire a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) including appropriate preparation of skin surfaces, correct placement of electrodes and leads, accurate patient identification, and verification electronic upload of the ECG to the patient's electronic medical record. Demonstrates proficiency in the configuration, communication, clinical use and trouble-shooting of FDA-approved medical devices including stress testing equipment. Provides communication with patients prior to their stress testing appointment with the correct appointment information and correct required prep. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting/standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive); Repetitive motion: Keyboard, console and workstation repetitive motion. Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
