Responsibilities

The Regional Director Quality and Regulatory Compliance will be responsible for PHS facilities to development, implementation, integration and coordination of Performance Improvement, Quality and Regulatory Compliance. Will facilitate Performance Improvement program and assumes a leadership role in accreditation and licensure activities. Work collaboratively with Administration and Leadership at the facility level. Ensures execution and communication of Performance Improvement and Patient Safety activities occurs from the department level to Board of Trustees. Ensures that all employees, including medical staff and members of the Board of Trustees articulate the Performance Improvement plan and activities. Ensures that the organizational goals and activities support optimal patient outcomes.

The Regional Director Quality and Regulatory Compliance ensures that all activities follow regulatory requirements related to the governance of the organization as well as any industry-specific or location-specific laws. Oversees internal controls and auditing systems that monitor and report on regulated activities and processes. Develops risk-based compliance testing of existing procedures and controls to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Evaluates and implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Establishes communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements

The Regional Director Quality and Regulatory Compliance will report and support VP Quality and Value Based Care to serve as an expert resource within Prime Healthcare Services as related to clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory and performance improvement issues, and activities related to accreditation.



Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Minimum bachelor's degree in health-related field. Master's degree preferred.

2. Minimum of five years of current experience in hospital management, inclusive of a leadership role in performance improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance.

4. Certification in Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Healthcare Accreditation highly desirable

5. Excellent in communication and management skills.

6. Proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Database.
