Description Senior Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Mission-Laguna Beach Hospital in Laguna Beach, CA. This position is Full- time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts. Within the role of technician, leader, and teacher, the Sterile Processing Technician III demonstrates the technical expertise to practice at the SPD Tech II level, and in addition, assume responsibility for complex instrumentation (i.e. Ortho, Neuro, and/or ENT) maintenance and development in conjunction with the SPD Supervisor, SPD Clinical Manager, Surgery Specialty Techs and/or Surgery Clinical Nurse III. Promotes and improves the quality of unit daily operations, participates in the development of technical practice standards; assists in training and orienting new staff members; and education of SPT I and SPT II regarding instrumentation within designated specialty.
