Learning and Development Department

The Learning and Development (L&D) Department is dedicated to fostering an environment of continuous professional growth and education within Vantage. Our team designs, implements, and evaluates training programs that are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs. The L&D team collaborates closely with department leaders to identify the short and long-term training and development goals for the organization, implementing these across the globe. We are also responsible for tracking the effectiveness of our training programs through metrics and feedback systems to continually refine how the organization grows its skills and competencies. Position Overview

This role can be based onsite in Denver, CO or Ashburn, VA.

Vantage is looking for a self-starting Learning and Development Intern to help drive the L&D Department processes and daily task efforts across several ongoing projects. In this internship program you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team that defines the experience provided to each member of team Vantage from the very first day they start with the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with employee onboarding initiatives, supporting a smooth transition for new hires.

  • Contribute to early careers programming, helping design and coordinate development opportunities for interns and entry-level staff.

  • Support general employee development activities, including skill-building workshops and learning events.

  • Help build presentations for instructor-led training sessions, ensuring materials are clear, engaging, and aligned with departmental goals.

  • Create eLearning modules for the Learning Management System (LMS), collaborating with subject matter experts and using instructional design best practices.

  • Assist with reporting on training metrics and feedback, supporting data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.

  • Contribute to process optimization efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness within L&D operations.

  • Additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field.

Experience:

  • Rising Junior or Senior status

  • Minimum GPA requirement - 3.0

  • Previous Internship experience, preferred

  • Skilled at internal personal communication, logical thinking, problem solving and project planning

  • Knowledge of US Intern programs

  • Proficient with all aspects of modern working practice and tools, including MS Office, MS Teams.

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: $20-$25/hr.

  • We will have 2 intern cohort timeframes to choose from: June 1st, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 and June 22nd, 2026 - August 28th, 2026
