Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Westford, MA

Shift: 6am-4:30pm

Pay: $21.51 per hour

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. This role involves performing assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies under close supervision. The position supports quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with established standards.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform routine assembly, repair, and testing tasks in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure traceability of all parts.
  • Communicate effectively with manufacturing management and team members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance efficiency and meet production goals.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing principles and divisional initiatives, including compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Collaborate with supervisors to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics.


Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Proficiency in using electronic data collection systems and computer software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small components and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly operations preferred.
