As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol Officer in Vernon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or potential hazards within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Document security-related activities and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or escorting visitors as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency services during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required as per client requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
