Pay Rate: Starts at $19.00 / hour unarmed then goes up to $24.85 / hour armed

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of observations, incidents, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter potential threats and promote a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
