As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will conduct routine security-related patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour then goes up to $24.85 / hour once armed

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and/or contractors entering the premises.
• Report and document any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols.
• Assist with crowd control and/or traffic management as required during peak operational hours or special events.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and promote a secure environment within the food and beverage facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
