As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This driving and armed post involves regular patrols, responding to incidents, and offering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or activities and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment.
• Interact with customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while addressing security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures regarding the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if applying for positions in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
