As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while managing access points and verifying credentials. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points at the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist in implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and offering guidance to visitors, contractors, and/or employees at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdowns when appropriate.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
