Registered Nurse Cardiac Rehabilitation Full Time 87328BR Job Summary Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) is an integral part of patient care and recovery after diagnosis of certain cardiovascular events and procedures such as heart attack, angioplasty/stent, heart failure, and valve repair/replacement and bypass surgery. The CR nurse coordinates patient activities, provides coaching and education, communication with referring provider, and safety oversight during medically supervised exercise. CR utilizes the expertise of multidisciplinary team to address the following: exercise training, nutritional counseling, smoking cessation counseling, medication management/education and behavioral counseling focusing on stress reduction. The end goal is to help program participants recover strength and confidence and make lifestyle changes that promote and maintain maximum health. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $93.47 - $121.11 (Hourly Rate).
