Roaming Network Technician The resource will provide hands on support for phone handset (analog and VOIP technologies) and wall jack activations for phone systems onsite Technologies: (Cisco/Siemens, Avaya/Unify) -The candidate should have experience at least two of the preferred technologies (VOIP and Phone) Candidate must have experience with the following: * Must have Cisco Router/ Switch WAP General IMAC Experience- Prefer CCNA * General Data Center Network IMAC Experience as well. * Must have general knowledge phone jack replacements, punch down, transferring jacks, jack activations/cross connections-i.e. block 66/110 * Must have IMAC experience with one or more of the common voice technologies (Siemens/Avaya/Cisco etc)- analog and VOIP * Must have basic experience tracing cable (Resource should have tools) Other experience required corresponding with daily tasks to be successful in the role Punch downs Cross connect 66 block- must have experience Familiar with data equipment Fluking switch ports aka using fluke tester Running link runner Fluking a data point Cross connects Activating jacks Cat 5 cat 6 VACCINATION REQUIRED-NO EXPEMPTIONS Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
