- Train internal users on corporate CAD standards, new software, and efficient workflows to support project demands.
- Implement standardized processes and guidelines to ensure consistency across all design projects.
- Lead processimprovement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and driving solutions that improve productivity.
- Adapt to frequent project changes in a fastmoving environment, maintaining flexibility and responsiveness.
- Produce accurate specifications and drawings based on calculations, engineering inputs, and customer requirements.
- Define, document, and maintain design processes to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Apply CAD expertise to create and review detailed technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Review and validate designs for consistency, manufacturability, and functional performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and a supportive setting for team members.
- Oversee daytoday operations of the CAD team, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the CAD department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely project completion.
YOU HAVE:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ideally 8+ years of SolidWorks CAD design and administrative experience.
- 3+ years of experience influencing crossfunctional teams and promoting collaboration.
- Strong background in standardized processes.
- Enovia or PLM experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $62,900.00 - $116,900.00
