Surgical Technologist - Labor & Delivery Brigham and Women's Hospital Join one of the nation's leading Labor & Delivery teams, supporting more than 6,000 births each year in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment. At BWH, Surgical Techs are key members of the OB surgical team, assisting with: Cesarean sections Emergency C-sections Postpartum hemorrhage procedures D&C procedures Tubal ligations Complex maternal-fetal surgeries You'll work alongside OB surgeons, anesthesia, NICU, nursing, and physician teams in a collaborative academic medical center known for advanced maternal care. ________________________________________ Why BWH High-acuity OB surgical experience Dedicated OB operating rooms Teaching hospital environment Strong teamwork and mentorship Career growth opportunities Meaningful impact on mothers and babies every day ________________________________________ What You'll Do Prepare sterile surgical fields Set up OB operating rooms Assist during procedures Perform instrument and sponge counts Support emergency surgical response teams Qualifications* CST Certification preferred 2+ years Surgical Tech experience preferred Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Certifications BLS preferred CST - NBSTSA required The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
