Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting with Marketing donor communications.

Quality Statement:

Supports organizational quality efforts by accepting responsibility for:

    Reporting any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
  • Participating in the implementation of solutions to problems.

Essential Functions

  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns/promotions as per the annual calendar where necessary.
  • Support Marketing projects such as events, special mailings, or local fulfillment of donor incentives.
  • Execute planned and ad hoc NYBCe e-mail/text/cloud call campaigns that support marketing/promotional programs as identified by marketing leadership team and production planning.
  • Assist in responding to social media comments and questions.
  • Research and respond to donor concerns on rewards program points, marketing offers and fulfillments via phone and email, usign the donor concern software.
  • Support the fulfillment of donor gifts offered via marketing campaigns/promotions.
  • Track new project requests and manage on-going projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with the production of collateral and merchandise, liaise with vendors and colleagues to meet deadlines.
  • Distribute and manage marketing material, collateral, signage and decorations to donor centers (and mobiles when necessary).
  • Distribute and manage marketing merchandise and donor giveaways.
  • Assist in the creation of artwork as necessary to support marketing needs.
  • Provide support in identifying new partnership opportunities that will raise the visibility of our organizations, the cause of blood donation, and create awareness and stronger community connections.
  • Support production planning including critical collections planning and be responsive to emergency needs.
  • Act as brand champion and ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Exemplify CBC's Customer Service Mission and Core Values.

Other Functions

  • Provides support to assigned managerial staff.
  • Prepares and provides reports as needed.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
  • Make recommendations to improve organizational processes.
  • Any related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

2-year relevant work experience, including internships.

Must have strong computer skills and customer service experience.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge:

Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to create analysis on a variety of facilities, process information and identify trends, patterns and deficiencies and follow-up where needed.

Strong attention to detail in all documentation and work processes.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

High level of interpersonal skills to handle a variety of complex issues and situations. Position requires demonstrated poise tact and diplomacy in dealing with a variety of staff up to and including executive leadership.

Ability to communicate clearly and with authority, both in writing and verbally, to others in one-on0one or small group settings.

Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and customers in a helpful, courteous and friendly manner while demonstrating sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations.
